We are searching for two high school rising junior or senior young women from Carteret County that would like to Shadow the Summit!

What is the Carolina’s Women Collective Summit? 
The Summit is an event for women entrepreneurs and women business leaders across all industries featuring keynote speaker Vivian Howard. It is a day filled with enriching workshops, networking sessions, and thought-provoking discussions. This empowering day is dedicated to celebrating and supporting women in leadership and entrepreneurship.

What will Shadowing the Summit entail?
Work directly alongside founders Booth Parker, Silvana Botta, and Jillian Lister and gain invaluable insight with their combined 60+ years of business experience. During this mentorship, you will assist with final planning details for the event; preparation of presentations; coordinating with speakers, vendors, moderators, and attendees; as well as executing logistics the day of the event. Plus, you will get to learn from the amazing line-up of speakers and panelists. 

What is the time commitment?
October 24, 2024 full day from 7:00 am until 6:00 pm at The Beaufort Hotel (breakfast and lunch provided)
September: one meeting per week, 1-2 hours (will be conducted after school hours)
October: two meetings per week, 1-2 hours (will be conducted after school hours)

Requirements:
Submit your application along with your resume and a video (up to 2 minutes) telling us why you should be chosen to Shadow the Summit!
Applications close June 30 and winners will be announced August 1.
Meetings will begin the first week of September.
